All Town buildings will be closed to the public beginning on 3/17/2020. Updates as to when the office will re-open will be made as more information becomes available.
The Equipment Shed will be unavailable for equipment pick ups and drop offs; please hold equipment until Town buildings re-open to the public.
Blood pressure checks will also be unavailable.

Overview

The Public Health Nurse’s Office provides the following services and programs to the residents of Sandwich:

  • COVID-19 Information and Contact Tracing
  • Tick Education and Removal (see below for educational video)
  • Mosquito-Borne Illness Prevention Counseling (See our Mosquito page for EEE and WNV updates)
  • Blood Pressure Checks
  • Child and Adult Immunizations (Shingrix is available)
  • Travel Immunizations
  • Communicable Disease Follow-up
  • Durable Medical Equipment Loan Closet (wheelchairs, shower chairs, walkers, canes, commodes, crutches, etc.)
  • Home Visit for Assessments
  • Flu Clinics
  • Medication and Dietary Counseling
  • Suture Removal and Wound Care
