MISSION STATEMENT: The Sandwich Historical Commission was established in 1971 to identify, document, preserve, develop and protect the historic assets and archaeological assets of the town and to promote public awareness of the history of the Town of Sandwich.

The Sandwich Historical Commission is charged with identifying, evaluating, and protecting the Town's important historical and archaeological resources. The Board of Selectmen appoints Commission members for a three-year term.
The Sandwich Historical Commission meets the 1st Wednesday of the month at 6 p.m. in the Town Archives at the Sandwich Library at 142 Main Street in Sandwich.
