| The Sandwich Recreation Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Part-time, Temporary Program Coordinator. Position will help oversee the development and promotion of a wide range of recreation programs, services and events for citizens of all ages. This is a 10-19 hour per week position, $15/hour and will be funded by the programs it creates through the Recreation Department's revolving account. The position is available through the end of the School year and, if successful, will begin again in September. Program Coordinator will work a flexible, varied schedule to include daytime, evening and weekend hours. Employee will work out of the Office of Sandwich Recreation, but provide services throughout the Town of Sandwich and surrounding outdoor areas when applicable. The Program Coordinator will work under the direct supervision of the Assistant Recreation Director.
Position requires excellent customer service, high energy, creativity and enthusiasm. Prior experience in creating and overseeing recreation programming strongly desired. Candidate must have a valid Driver's License and excellent computer skills.
