Help shape a plan for the future by sharing your experiences connecting to the digital world
Do you experience problems with internet connection or speed? Do you have a reliable device to connect you to the internet? Are you confident using devices and online platforms to access services like mobile banking and telehealth?
As full participation in today’s society becomes more reliant on technology, do you have the skills, devices, and accessibility needed to connect, communicate, and conduct business?
The Town of Sandwich is working with the Cape Cod Commission and the community to develop strategies to ensure that all members of the community have equal and fair access to the tools, skills and technology necessary to connect to the digital world.
Community participation is a critical component of this planning effort. Residents, businesses, and organizations are invited to attend an upcoming workshop to learn about and contribute to the development of the digital equity plan.
Discussion topics will include internet availability, affordability, and reliability; technology and devices necessary for civic, social, and economic life; and skills to participate safely, confidently, and effectively online. Light refreshments will be served.
